The Best of 2007 CONTEST

Well, I'm finally back at my desk today and it feels good. Yep, I'm happy to be back at work - I feel like I have been off forever. The holidays really threw my schedule for a loop. This morning I even said to hubby - "Oh, is today Wednesday?".

So, as I gear up for the first exciting FULL year of Mthree Studio Fabulousness I see a fun and challenging road ahead. So many fabulous brides and grooms to share wedding days with - and so many more I am sure to meet soon as they book for their own special days. Looking at the calendar, dates are filling up quickly, but there are still a lot of quality 2008 dates left - so if you know someone who is looking or you are someone - please give me call or send me an email - I'll bet I have your date open!

2008 will definately be the year of the "Kates". I have five clients named Kate or Katy already. It could also be the year of the lawyers - with six brides and two grooms who are or will shortly be lawyers. I'll be all over Southern Wisconsin shooting in a myriad of beautiful locations. It will be very interesting to see how the year shapes up as the dates fill in... And as always I am happy to shoot just about anywhere in the world - so destination weddings: keep me in mind!

Before I make the full plunge into 2008, I wanted to take one last look in the rearview mirror at 2007 and some of my favorite shots of the year. I could have picked so many, but I got really strict with myself and only chose a true few favorites. As an added bonus, I'm making it a contest.

So here's the diddy: There are 11 favorite 2007 shots. If you are the couple/person who is pictured, you are automatically entered in the contest. If you aren't pictured and were a client, I'm sorry, but you aren't in the contest. This is just for fun and the entries were chosen solely on photographic merit and have nothing to do with my love for the clients - because I honestly have loved all of my clients. This is just for fun. If you are an entrant - quick, email the blog link to everyone you know and get them to vote for you! Voting will be done in the comment box for this post. Voters need to name the number of the shot they are voting for. You can vote if you don't know the people in the picture - you don't have to have a relationship with your pick. No anonymous votes will be counted, so some sort of screen-name must accompany your comment. One vote per person (this is mostly the honor system). You can vote for yourself. The prize is an 11x14 framed print of the winning shot (or any other shot from your shoot), (or I might do a cool wrapped canvas thingy I've been working on) to be delivered within one month of the close of the contest. The contest will begin now (About 5pm cst on January 2nd and run until midnight cst on January 8th - about one week). The size of the shots shown here should be ignored - I tried to even them up, but they are a little off.
